Indian delegation plans visit to Brazil for mineral assets

An Indian delegation comprising officials from the steel ministry and from state-owned miners - iron ore producer NMDC and manganese ore miner MOIL - are scheduled to visit Brazil, reportedly on the hunt for mineral assets. Steel minister Beni Prasad Verma, MOIL chairman and managing director K.J. Singh, and NDMC director (technical) N.K. Nanda, would be part of the delegation, which is tentatively scheduled to visit Brazil during November 4-8, a New Delhi-based steel ministry official told Platts Steel Business Briefing Monday.
