East China scrap holds on tight supply: trade

Eastern China's scrap price have remained steady this week, following increases of more than Yuan 200/mt in early October. Major mills in the region kept purchasing prices unchanged, however some market participants expected the rally in rebar prices to support stronger scrap prices in the short term.
