Domestic scrap prices in eastern China's Jiangsu province have remained flat this week, but some believe there could be a risk of further losses during the rest of the month, sources told Platts Steel Business Briefing Friday. “Transactions have been even thinner due to weaker demand from the mills' side, and so far I cannot find any factor that would support scrap prices,” a Shanghai-based trader said.
