China’s domestic iron ore producers reported a modest improvement in sales for the second consecutive week, with overall stability in domestic prices and recent sustainability of seaborne iron ore at about $60/dmt CFR North China, sources said Friday. Platts assessed China’s domestic 66% Fe iron ore concentrate delivered to mills in Tangshan city, in north China’s Hebei province, at Yuan 580-Yuan 590/dry mt ($95- $96/dmt) Friday, unchanged on week, on cash terms and including 17% VAT.
