Containerized scrap export sale prices from the US to Taiwan remained stable last week at$265/mt CFR Taiwan for HMS 80:20, but bids were under pressure on Friday, nearing$260/mt.Tokyo Steel Manufacturing cut its scrap buying prices twice last week by a total of Yen1,000/mt ($8/mt). Some Taiwanese mill buyers said they were hesitant to book scrapbecause they believe Japanese scrap prices could fall further.
