Thailand’s Tycoons moves upstream with EAF meltshop

Thailand’s Tycoons Worldwide Group (TWG) will build a 500,000 tonnes/year EAF-based meltshop at its existing Rayong works. The backward integration will allow the firm to become self-sufficient in billet feeds for the low-medium-high carbon, cold heading quality and low alloy steel wire rods it makes.
