Natural gas is acknowledged as one of the cleanest burning fuels. and the LNG demand is steadily growing worldwide since its origin [1,2]. Floating LNG (FLNG) technology is an emerging industry, and safety aspects are not yet properly addressed. FLNG installations facilitate production, processing and storage of the gas before it is transported in a liquefied state by ship to its market.
