I recently had the opportunity to read a current book on the Bestseller list. The book entitled "The Essential 55" by Ron Clark, an award winning educator, was aimed at providing teachers with some of his experience and some of the important rules he found applied effectively over the years teaching children in today's educational environment. I found the book entertaining, informational and excellent with respect to providing down-to-earth rules. But more important, I found that the rules really applied to all of us in our daily quest for order, efficiency and just plain getting along with others in our daily activities. The rules are simple. They appear to he very practical. And, they seem to accurately reflect rules that each of us could follow in our business and relationships with our colleagues. As an example, here are a few of the selected rules that I pulled from the book that is worth seeing how they might apply to actions we might take in everyday activities.
