Congress swears in Hersman as NTSB chairperson

Washington - Deborah Hersman on July 28 was sworn in as chair of the National Transportation Safety Board. Hersman has been a board member since June 2004 and has accompanied investigators on 16 major accident investigations, according to NTSB.
