New York - Most U.S. companies have a formal emergency preparedness plan in place, but no single standardized plan has gained widespread adoption, a new report stated. A survey of 302 senior corporate executives last year found about 75 percent of the companies had written emergency plans, according to the report from The Conference Board, a business membership and research organization best known for its Consumer Confidence Index.
