Law enforcement traffic deaths up 16 percent:report

The number of law enforcement officers killed in motor vehicle-related incidents while on duty rose to 73 in 2006 from 63 the previous year,according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.This marks the ninth consecutive year in which traffic crashes claimed more officers' lives than shootings.
