The orthopedic community was shocked by the sudden passing of one of its great leaders on March 29, 2010. While on a skiing vacation with his wife of 53 years, Janet, in British Colombia, Canada, Charles Sorbie died of his injuries after colliding with a snow boarder. All who knew him will remember best Charlie's love of life, education, and invention, and his insatiable curiosity for learning about all aspects of life.
