摘要

Scattering cross sections and the angular dependence of the intensity of scattered radiation for liquid crystal particles were calculated in the approximation of discrete dipoles. The results of calculations were compared with the data obtained in the Rayleigh-Gans approximation and in the anomalous diffraction approximation. Uniform particles and particles with the radial structure of the director were considered. The results of calculations were used to illustrate potentialities of these methods for the description of scattering by liquid crystal droplets.
