摘要

Curvilinear-axis theory and numerical calculation of wide beam focusing and imaging for magnetic immersed lenses without crossovers are presented. The special electron optical properties are studied for the lenses with initial canonical angular momentum of electrons being nonzero. By using curved optical axes method, field expanding expressions round the curved axes and the curvilinear-axis paraxial equations are derived. As an example, curvilinear-axis Gaussian imaging properties of a magnetic immersed lens whose axial flux density has an analytical expression are numerically calculated. The results are consistent with those obtained from ray tracing approach. It is shown demagnified images without crossovers can be formed with a submicron resolution. [References: 9]
