摘要

Collisional broadening coefficients are measured for iodine-127 resonance absorption lines in sev-eral rare gases of atmospheric air and CO2. The results obtained are used to determine the optimum pressure of a gaseous mixture in a measuring cell for detecting iodine-127 by a helium-neon (633 nm) laser-induced fluo-rescence technique of monitoring iodine in atmospheric air.
