摘要

An efficient numerical method for calculating the amplitude scattering matrix for locally uniaxial anisotropic particles of arbitrary shape is proposed. This method makes it possible to substantially simplify the description of polydispersion systems of physically similar particles and decrease the bulk of calculations in the determination of spectral characteristics of scattered radiation. As an example of its application, results of numerical simulation of attenuation cross sections and differential scattering cross sections for droplets of a nematic liquid crystal with a bipolar director field configuration are presented.
