Spectral and temperature characteristics of light transmission in solutions of chemical indicators

摘要

Spectral and temperature characteristics of light transmission in water solutions of chemical indicators- bromophenol blue, bromothymol blue, and cresol red-were measured in the wavelength range of 500-750 nm and the temperature range from 20 to 90A degrees D. It was demonstrated that these solutions can be applied in optical fiber thermometers with continuous reading which are not affected by strong external electromagnetic fields.
