摘要

A new Y-shaped design in a 2D-photonic crystal structure composed of air holes in silicon substrate is proposed for realization of optical logic 1 and 0. A suitable operating principle for the realization of the logic operation is presented, which is then verified by FDTD simulations. The proposed structure is expected to be a better candidate for application in optical logic gates.
