摘要

Atmospheric scintillation of an incoherent broadband source has been physically simulated in the laboratory using a reflective membrane optical scintillator (RMOS). The RMOS has been shown previously to be effective with a HeNe laser source. The results with the broadband source are analysed with standard models used to represent scintillation statistics and it is shown that scintillation behaviour can be produced with the RMOS device and an incoherent broadband, divergent source.
