Hydraulic overload safety device with pyrotechnical actuation

摘要

The use of hydraulic overload safety devices in mechanical presses to protect the machines fromexcess force loads is in line with current technical practice. This was the starting point for theconception of a new type of hydraulic overload safety device with electrical signal circuit andpyrotechnical actuation with which mechanical presses would be reliably protected from overloadsup to 300 strokes per minute. The subassemblies of the overload device and their special features aredescribed. The article concludes with a presentation of the results of the test evalution in a press.
