Journalism teaches that the lead paragraph of a story answers the questions:Who? Did What? So What? The best lead I've ever read was written by Professor David H.Breen in his book Alberta's Petroleum Industry and the Conservation Board:"Despite the imagery of hard-driving entrepreneurs and free-enterprise politics which characterize the oil industry in the public mind,the industry in reality has functioned within the tight confines of a regulatory structure unmatched in any other resource sector."
