The next United Nations-sponsored gab-fest on climate change, scheduled for Dec. 7-18 in Copenhagen, is less than four months away. I know you are counting the sleeps. The Copenhagen meeting is supposed to be about developed and developing nations agreeing to a global, post-Kyoto climate treaty. Whether this will actually happen seems to depend on your particular shade of rose-coloured glasses. Or, perhaps, whether you see your other glasses as being half empty or half full.
