The family is the foundation of society. Strong families support strong communities, which ultimately make for strong nations. Sharon Fourhorn, Director of Athabasca Tribal Council (ATC) Child & Family Services, and her staff are responsible for helping the ATC's five-member nations ensure children within their communities are protected when facing family difficulties. It's also their responsibility to work with the five communities to strengthen families from the outset to prevent any problems down the road.
