Revolutionary geotechnical design makes waves in Walvis Bay

7SEA GEOSCIENCES, A Cape Town-based geophysical site survey, geosciences and geotechnical company, have mobilised their newly built, jack-up platform to Walvis Bay, Namibia. The platform, the 7Sea Investigator, has been deployed to complete the final phase of the geotechnical investigation and laboratory testing prior to the construction of the New Walvis Bay container terminal on reclaimed land, which is managed by the Namibian Port Authority (NAMPORT).
