摘要

This paper presents the results of investigations on corrosion resistance of coatings obtained by batch hot dip method in Zn-5 percent Al bath. Electrochemical corrosion measurements and corrosion test in the neutral salt spray was carried out. The sulphur dioxide test with condensation of moisture were also made. The structure and thickness of coatings was determined. Corrosion resistance of Zn-5 percent Al coatings were compared with corrosion resistance of hot dip zinc coatings obtained in the traditional of the galvanizing temperature and high temperature hot dip process. Results of this investigations permitted us to qualify electrochemical parameters of corrosion process and kinetic of its running. The better corrosion resistance of Zn-5 percent Al. coatings in comparison with Zn coatings have been found.
