HOT-DIP ZN-AL PLATED STEEL WITH THICK COATING WEIGHT EXCELLENT IN CORROSION RESISTANCE, PITTING CORROSION RESISTANCE AND PLATING ADHESION

摘要

PURPOSE: To develop a high strength steel wire excellent in corrosion resistance, pitting corrosion resistance and plating adhesion, on the surface of a steel wire, by successively forming an Al-Fe-Zn alloy plating layer, a Zn-Al plating layer, a chromate film layer and an organic resin film respectively having specified compsns. ;CONSTITUTION: The surface of a high carbon steel wire having a compsn. contg., by weight, 0.5 to 1.5% C, 0.5 to 2.0% Si, 0.03 to 1.2% of one or two kinds of Mn and Cr, and the balance Fe is applied with a Ti-contg. Al-Fe-Zn alloy plating layer constituted of 2ppm to 2% Ti, 35 to 70% Al, 20 to 60% Fe (Al+Fe=60 to 95%), and the balance Zn with ≥10g/m² coating weight and the surface is applied with a Ti-contg. Zn-Al alloy plating layer constituted of 2ppm to 2% Ti, 2 to 20% Al, and the balance Zn with ≥50g/m² coating weight by hot- dip plating so as to regulate the total coating weight of both plating layers to ≥300g/m². On the surface, a chromate film layer and an organic resin film of epoxy series or the like are formed, and the plated steel wire having ≥160kg/mm² tensile strength can be produced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
