Much Head Scratching as Crude Ends Wild Week Sharply Lower

The wildest week of the year ended with oil markets continuing their plunge on Friday as Nymex crude closed under $76 for the first time since Feb. 16. Nymex June crude futures fell $2 to settle at $75.11 per barrel, shedding more than $11 for the whole week. In London on ICE Futures, June Brent dropped $1.56 to end at $78.27.
