Crude Futures Rebound on French Strikes, End Week Little Changed

Nymex crude futures rebounded Friday, supported by strikes in France, with prices ultimately ending a volatile week more or less unchanged. Nymex December crude rose $1.13 to settle at $81.69 per barrel, while December Brent, trading on ICE Futures in London, gained $1.13 to settle at $82.96. The Nymex front-month contract gained 44c over the entire week.
