The Friends of CETAC-West raised over $120,000 at its inaugural fundraiser last November in support of the western branch of the Canadian Environmental Technology Advancement Corporation. Some 200 people braved frigid temperatures and mounds of snow to attend the event at Calgary's Glencoe Club, in attendance was MLA and Minister of Finance and Enterprise Ted Morton, to pay tribute to the not-for-profit firm that has helped over 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprises develop and commercialize new environmental technologies since 1994.
