Disclosed are buckets for a bucket elevator having a minimum mounting bucket pitch. The buckets are each formed by an enclosure from left and right side plates, a rear back plate and a front bottom plate, and have a lower half part in the shape of a cone having an inner cavity volume gradually reducing downwards, the bottom of a cone of an upper bucket on the bucket elevator extends downwards to the front of a rear back plate of a lower bucket, and a minimum space distance between upper and lower buckets is equal to or greater than 5 mm; by means of an optimization design of a bucket structure, and given that the volume of the buckets is not affected, a side face, a rear back and a front bottom face of each bucket form a downward narrowing cone, so that the bottom of an upper bucket sinks at the front end of the rear back of a lower bucket, most possibly reducing the mounting bucket pitch for the buckets, and increasing the bucket mounting density, so as to improve a lifting capacity of the bucket elevator, so that the bucket mounting density and the lifting capacity can both be improved by 25-35%; the mounting bucket pitch of the buckets can be adjusted according to different usage design requirements of the bucket elevator, and the adjustment mounting is performed until within the range of the minimum mounting bucket pitch.
