Prices of Vegetable Oils & Oilmeals Have Started to Diverge

US soybean harvesting is now expanding in the key growing areas. Improving weather conditions mean that one of the last hurdles separating the bumper US crop from the market is being removed, giving way to a further decline of soybean prices. Large supplies are still setting the tone in price-making and frequent news of large US export sales are brushed aside for the time being. From today's perspective world soybean supplies will be large enough to cover even an outstanding demand growth and still result in a steep increase of global soybean stocks in the course of 2014/15.
