Use of vegetable oils as a provider or starting material for production of electrical energy in fuel cells, e.g. in electrically-driven automobiles

Use is claimed of vegetable oils in (i) the catalytic production (plant oil reformation) of H2 which is then used as a starting material for 'cold combustion' in a stationary or mobile fuel cell to produce electrical energy or (ii) direct 'cold combustion' in fuel cells for formation of H2 and its oxidation to H2O and CO2 with the production of electrical energy (e.g. direct methanol fuel cells).
