San Miguel Natural Reserve a Victory for Puerto Rico

Fifteen years after a large fuel oil spill tainted the coastline of Puerto Rico, a victory for conservation has been achieved. Over 150 acres (61 hectares) have been added to the protected San Miguel Natural Reserve, bringing the reserve to a total of 422 acres (171 hectares).
