Eromanga Hydrocarbons' re-entry into the 1960s PTA-3 well (40%) has reached a depth of 660m after experiencing a gas kick at 171m and an inflow of oil at 295m.Based on the original PTA-3 data, it is predicted to lie within the 104m section between 546 and 650m of the Muribeca and Coqueiro Seco Formation carbonates.The well is testing between 900,000 bbl and nine mmbbl.
