Queensland coal seam gas supplier CH4 Gas Ltd has posted a small after tax maiden profit of US 164,720 for the financial year ended June 30,2005 from its rapidly developing Moranbah gas project (50% and operator,BHP Billiton Ltd 50%).Since listing in April 2004,CH4 was worked to rapidly develop the increasing its production capacity and bringing in an improved profit - up 7.5% ahead of forecast,from operating cash flows during the year of some US1.1 million.
