摘要

In this paper, mesoporous rod-like SiO_2/TiO_2 (m-SiO_2/TiO_2) and mesoporous sphere-like TiO_2 (m-TiO_2) have been prepared by using a new type Gemini surfactant containing carbonyl groups (GS-A, [(C_n H_(2n + 1))(CH _3)_2N~+(CH_2)_2-O 2C-(CH_2)_4-CO_2-(CH_2) _2N~+(CH_3)_2(C_n H 2_(n + 1))] ? 2Br-, n = 12) as template at pH ~ 6 at room temperature. The products are characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and N_2 adsorption-desorption. The results indicate that anatase TiO_2 exists in both samples and m-SiO_2/TiO _2 has a higher surface area (741.13 m~2/g) than m-TiO _2. Moreover, as-synthesized samples show excellent photocatalytic activity for the degradation of methyl red under UV irradiation.
