On the biostratigraphy of accretionary complexes in the Far East (critical review of several papers)

Being a relatively simple geological discipline, biostratigraphy requires accuracy and sequential logic. The incorrect use of the biostratigraphic method and inaccurate interpretation of biostratigraphic data lead to a distorted understanding of regional tectonics. Frequently occurring errors are analyzed using three recently published works on biostratigraphy of accretionary complexes in the Russian Far East as an example.
