摘要

A review of available methods for hydrogen content determination in liquid aluminium and its alloys, including Straube-Pfeiffer test, "first bubble" test, Telegas, electrochemical method, CHAPEL, Ransley method, and an extraction in a solid state - Nitrogen Carrier Fusion, has been presented. These methods have been classified into those used for liquid and for solid samples, their short description is given along with principles of operation, and the equipment developed based on them is listed. The man advantages and drawbacks of these methods are described as well as the factors to be taken into account in choosing specific method to determine hydrogen content.
