FIELD: analysis of gases in metals. SUBSTANCE: in agreement with proposed method of determination of content of hydrogen in aluminium alloys sample of aluminium alloy is placed into melting pot and is melted in flow of gas fixing extracted hydrogen. Sample to be placed into melting pot has 0.07-0.3 mm chamfer made at angle 29-31 deg and clearance between it and wall of melting pot not exceeding 0.05 mm. EFFECT: improved authenticity of method.
