KM Philip has always been a visionary. He has contributed substantially for the growth of Indian Rubber Industry. On his 80th birthday celebrations, AIRIA had decided to institute an award to recognize and honour individuals who have contributed significantly to the growth of the Indian Rubber Industry Since 1992 nine individuals have been selected for this coveted award which includes a Gold Medal, a citation and a cheque of Rs.2.0 Lac. This award has established its reputation and is viewed with significant respect and admiration.
