Adhesive and cohesive strength in FKM-HNBR blends

Elastomers are used in industry primarily because of their remarkable durability, which is in part due to the molecular orientation and crystallization of these macromolecules. In the adhesive and rubber industry, the blending of rubbers produces new materials that have a potential to combine the desired properties of both the constituents in the blend, widening the range of their applications (ref. 1).
