Processing additives are materials used at relatively low dosage levels, which improve processing characteristics without significantly affecting physical properties. In the early years, the classic additives such as mineral oil, bees wax, stearic acid and palmitic acid, etc., were used as natural raw materials, which are not constant as regards composition and quality.
