There are some 80,000 members of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and thousands of non-members who struggle every day,trying to guard the back door of their organization to stop defective products and services from reaching the customer.For the most part,it's a thankless and impossible job.Many times there are toe-to-toe,nose-to-nose arguments.Occasionally,it comes to a fistfight.Why? I've never quite understood that part of the quality business.
