The selective inheritance of necrotic genotypes in soft winter wheat

The elimination of the genotypes Ne1Ne1ne2ne2 in soft winter wheat was shown experimentally under field conditions under the influence of natural selection. The linkage of the gene Ne1 with one or more genes diminishing the competitiveness of a wheat plant was postulated. The identity of the wheat genotypes ne1ne1Ne2Ne2 and ne1ne1ne2ne2 with respect to frost resistance was established.
