Capital expenditure by Severstal could run to S6.9 billion in the period 2006-2009, the organizers of the Severstal IPO said in analytical materials. Capex at Severstal's Russia-based steel sector assets will be S3.28 billion, at Italy's Lucchini - S961 million and at Severstal North America - 931 million dollars, the analysts said. Upstream sector capex will be 1.75 billion dollars. Planned capex in the period 2006-2008 is estimated at 5.23 billion dollars. Severstal is holding an IPO road show. Citigroup, Deutsche Bank and UBS Investment Bank are the joint global coordinators and bookrunners and Frontdeal Limited will sell the shares.
