EVRAZ CROUP CONFIRMS IT WON MEZHEGEISKOYE COAL DEPOSIT AUCTION

Russia's Evraz Group has officially confirmed it won an auction for the rights to the Mezhegeiskoye coal deposit in Tuva. A representative of one of the companies that bid in the auction told Interfax earlier that OJSC Yuzhkuz-bassugol, a coal producer in the Evraz Group, won the auction with a bid of 16.94 billion rubles. The starting price was 350 million rubles and the bidding increment was 10 percent of the starting price.
