Russia's producer of enriched uranium and nuclear fuel, TVEL, is in discussions with several Chinese companies for new contracts for supplying nuclear power plants (NPPs) with fuel and components, TVEL said. Negotiations are underway for a fuel contract from an experimental Chinese reactor using fast neutron technology. TVEL has already delivered a shipment of for this facility based on an agreement signed in 2004.
