Russia's international reserves fell 4.6 billion dollars to 383.5 billion dollars as of February 6, from 388.1 billion dollars on January 30, the Central Bank said. These reserves, which used to be known as "gold and foreign-exchange reserves", consist of highly liquid financial assets at the disposal of the CB and Russian government, including foreign currency, monetary gold, special drawing rights, the reserve position at the IMF and other reserve assets.
