摘要

To the Editor: One of the many blessings that accrue from practicing medicine for more than 50 years is the ability to reflect on the cyclic changes that occur in our approach to caring for women. The editorial by Chalas and the articles by Parker et al2 and Perera et al3 illustrate some of these changes.
