摘要

A mathematical model is developed on the basis of the variational principle of the strain theory of plasticity and the theory of small elastoplastic strains. By means of the model it is possible to predict the degree of ovalization of tubes and the level of residual stresses in production of tubes by means of the coil drawing method. The model may be used in the design and optimization of process flow diagrams for the coil drawing process.
